Dear David,
Spring
has sprung! With warmer weather and
longer days finally here, it’s time to
do a little spring cleaning around your
house.
Watch our March 9 segment from Good
Morning Texas for tips on how to get
organized, sell your
unwanted items through iSold It
rather than at a garage sale, and make
more money, save time, and relax at
home.
Then, use the VIP coupon
below--only for subscribers to the iSold
It inSider!--to get some more green from
your spring clean! Just print the coupon
you’ll find at the end of this email and
bring it with you to any of
our three stores. This offer is good
only through April 14, so don't
wait--tackle that garage this weekend!

Take Your First Steps as an
eBay Buyer
|
|
with an Education Specialist
Trained by eBay
You may have sold items on
eBay through iSold it. But have
you ever bought something on
eBay? Does shopping the world's
largest online marketplace
interest you, but you just need
some help getting started?
If so, have a professional
teach you the right way
to buy on eBay! iSold it of
Dallas co-owner Cheryl
Goldstein, who was recently
certified as an Education
Specialist Trained by eBay, is
now teaching “The
Basics of Buying on eBay”
with the most up-to-date
training materials from eBay
University.
You have probably met Cheryl
in one of our stores. While she
lives the eBay selling
experience every day, she is
also an avid eBay buyer,
shopping for everything from
clothing and housewares to
collectible jigsaw puzzles (her
personal passion) on eBay in her
spare time. At our
Thursday-evening seminars, she
will share with you the tips and
tricks she has picked up along
the way.
This dynamic and fun class is
perfect to help new eBay buyers
learn to navigate the eBay
shopping platform, giving them
an insider’s map and some hints
on how to be a successful, safe,
and savvy shopper.

We've Eliminated Local
Pick-Up Fees!
|
|
Use your pricing advantage over
other eBay bidders
Here’s yet another great
reason to shop iSold It’s
auctions: we recently eliminated
the $5.00 fee for all purchases
picked up in our stores.
Now, if you are the winning
bidder for an item offered on
eBay by any of our three stores,
you can pick up the item in our
store and pay no additional
fees— no shipping, no
handling, no local pick-up fee!
This extra savings gives you
an automatic advantage over
out-of-town bidders, because
they must include the extra
price of shipping and handling
in their total cost. As a
result, their maximum bid will
often be lower than
yours—enabling you to win more
auctions!
When you are the winning
bidder, simply select “Pick up
in store” as your shipping
method when you check out and
pay online. You’ll see an
updated total with just your
winning bid and any applicable
sales tax. To help us serve you
more quickly, please print a
copy of your payment receipt and
bring it with you to the store
when you come to pick up your
purchase.

Recycle Your Foam Packing
“Peanuts” at iSold It
|
|
Help save the planet!
All three of our iSold It
stores have joined the Plastic
Loose Fill Council, and are now
official “Peanut Hotline”
collection centers for expanded
polystyrene (EPS) loose fill
packaging--better known as foam
“peanuts”.
The next time you receive a
box filled with foam peanuts,
don’t throw the packaging in the
trash! EPS occupies a tremendous
amount of space in landfills,
and it is not biodegradable.
Instead, bring your clean
foam peanuts to any of our iSold
It stores. We will reuse them in
our outgoing product shipments.
In fact, EPS peanuts can be
reused many times, saving the
natural resources used in
producing them, and reducing
landfill waste.
The Peanut Hotline, founded
in 1991, is the Plastic Loose
Fill Council’s nationwide
program for reusing packing
peanuts. By calling the Hotline
toll-free at 800- 828-2214 or
visiting
loosefillpackaging.com,
residents anywhere in the
country can learn which local
businesses accept foam peanuts
for reuse or recycling.
We are proud to be helping
our neighbors in the community
save the planet...one “peanut”
at a time!

Get Cash for Your Ty Beanie
Babies
|
|
Give your collection of Beanies
a new home!
Like many people, you may
have collected dozens or even
hundreds of Ty’s lovable Beanie
Babies during their heyday in
the 1990s. And now, a decade
later, you’re wondering: what to
do with all those Beanies?
Perhaps you’ve even brought some
of them into one of our stores,
hoping to sell them on eBay,
only to learn that the eBay
market is already flooded with
the common Beanies.
Well, we now have a solution
for you! iSold It of Dallas has
partnered with BuyingBeans.com
to become an authorized drop-off
point for virtually all Beanie
Babies and Beanie Buddies. Just
bring your Beanies into any of
our three stores, and we’ll pay
you cash on the spot for them.
You’ll receive $0.40 each for
most common Beanie Babies, $1.00
each for most common Beanie
Buddies, and even more for
certain old or rare Beanies!
Common Beanies need to be
clean, in good condition, with
mint or near-mint swing tags and
tush tags still attached. We may
be able to purchase older and
rarer styles without the tags.
We can even buy Ty Pillow Pals,
Baby Ty, Ty Plush and Disney
Beans— about the only ones we
can’t take are the McDonald’s
Teeny Beanies.
Remember, we handle all the
screening, grading and shipping
for you—it’s fast and
convenient. So clean out your
closet, bring your Beanies
collection to us, and put a
little jingle in your pocket at
the same time!

Dallas' stores since we opened
in November 2005.
Congratulations to our
customers who sold these items!
