The next time you receive a box filled with foam peanuts, don’t throw the packaging in the trash! EPS occupies a tremendous amount of space in landfills, and it is not biodegradable.

Instead, bring your clean foam peanuts to any of our iSold It stores. We will reuse them in our outgoing product shipments. In fact, EPS peanuts can be reused many times, saving the natural resources used in producing them, and reducing landfill waste.

The Peanut Hotline, founded in 1991, is the Plastic Loose Fill Council’s nationwide program for reusing packing peanuts. By calling the Hotline toll-free at 800- 828-2214 or visiting loosefillpackaging.com, residents anywhere in the country can learn which local businesses accept foam peanuts for reuse or recycling.
